Temples!

Hi guys,
I hope that life is treating everybody pleasurably.

Life out here is going well, I just cannot wait for thanksgiving! It will be good to see family.

Today was the Boise temple re-dedication.  All the wards on Campus were counseled to cancel regular meetings so that all members could attend on of three dedication sessions.  Our apartment went to the eight o'clock session.  I had the opportunity to usher for the session and direct people where to sit, which is always a pleasure.  I love helping people.

The dedication was beautiful.  I loved participating in the Hosanna Shout, and hearing the words of our Prophet, it is a wonderful experience!  The closing song was The Spirit of God as well as the Hosanna song sung by the choir.  When the congregation joined in to sing The Spirit of God, the floodgates opened and I could not stop crying the rest of the song.  It was a beautiful experience to be a part of.

Temples are such a blessing in our lives. I always love going there. On Saturday our Relief Society went to the Temple and participated in Baptisms for the dead. I love doing service in the temple.  We got to the temple at about 8 and had a 2 hour wait to get in and were heading home an hour or so later.  The Rexburg temple is a busy place. Which of course is a wonderful thing!!! I cannot wait till I am able to fully take part in many other saving ordinances of the Temple.  There is no doubt that God visits His temples and watches over them and those that serve in them.

I also gain a much greater appreciation for the men that hold the Priesthood.  There is no doubt that they are called by God.  I never want to live without the priesthood in my life!
Well I hope everyone is doing swell,
I love ya bunches.

Spanish!!!! hehehe!

Hola guys,

I thought I would devote yet another one of my posts to my favorite language, however this post will be in English.

I started taking Spanish when I was in eighth grade and took it through my senior year of high school.  In high school we were only required to take three years of Spanish in order to graduate, however I loved it so much that I just kept taking it.

My high school Spanish Teacher.  She taught me Spanish 2 and AP Spanish!!
I love this Lady!!!
This year in college I am taking Spanish 1 again.  Lets just say that I have an A in the class.  The review has been good.  Little do the people that sit by me know, that I know the answers already.  This class reminds me of when I took Spanish in High School and how much work I had to put into it to get good grades and remember all of the work.  I am glad I learned it then instead of now, because we move so much faster in college.

One of these semesters I will try to skip to intermediate level Spanish classes.

I don't really know why I love Spanish so much, it could be that it opens the doors to communicate, or that I have put so much work into learning it that I have grown to love it, or that it just fun to speak.  Whatever the reason I love Spanish.

I would love to go on a Spanish speaking mission.  That would involve two of my favorite things in the entire world.  (Of course my Family is up there on my list of favorites too.)

At school I have incorporated Spanish into my life in a regular basis.  Every Sunday I  participate in Spanish stadium singing,  I have joined the school's Spanish choir, and every time I get angry at my computer I rant at it in Spanish.  I love speaking Spanish.  If anyone ever wants to talk in Spanish with me I would love too!!! And we could even have a FIESTA!!!!!!

Well I love you guys! I hope all of your days are filled with Spanish and your dreams full of fiestas.

Questions...

Hi World,

For this post I have been thinking about some questions that have been left unanswered in my life.

...

now don't worry only some of these are serious questions...

Why does the toothpaste I use not attracted boys like the commercial says it should?

Why are some of the yummiest foods not healthy for you?

Why can't I stop eating the yummy foods?

Why does time fly so quickly?

Serious-er...

Why in Spanish do we pray using the informal you when we are talking to God?

What does it mean in hymn 41 Enoch's band?

I have many more questions in my life and I am sure I will find more, but here are a few of them.  Now don't everyone send me the answers all at once.  For the last question I want to search out the answer myself.

For your further enjoyment I shall post some pictures of my life:

Our recent weather

Since daylight savings time, I now see this when I walk home from Spanish class.
Look what I got myself into!

Same old me!

Miss you all and love ya to death!
